⁶ At Your ^(A)rebuke, O God of Jacob,
Both ^[a](B)rider and horse were cast into a dead sleep.
⁷ You, even You, are ^(C)to be feared;
And ^(D)who may stand in Your presence when once ^[b]You are angry?

⁸ You caused judgment to be heard from heaven;
The earth ^(E)feared and was still
